I think that people don’t realize that some co-workers, friends , and family members actually want you to fail your fitness goals because they don’t want you to look better than them because they feel it will make you less close.
It is really so important to surround yourself with fit people so that you can have the emotional and psychological support required as well as the reinforced discipline to become fit yourself. The sad thing is that finding fit people is really hard. Most people are not fit and it is difficult to find people living in your area who are fit. That is very, very frustrating!

Great video, extremely motivating and to the point. In my opinion I think it’s very hard sometimes to find a group of people or even on person for that matter that shares similar fitness goals as you. However, looking outside your comfort zone and immediate inner circle is a great idea. The reality is most of the people in your inner circle if not focused on fitness don’t what you to succeed because it can interfere with what they may want to do. Like going out to eat or drinking all weekend long. .

These comments are saddening. If your friends secretly want you to fail because they would be jealous of your success and wellbeing what kinds of friend are they? Get some new supportive ones! I know that is easy to say and not so easy to do. Best might be to join a gym and ask around there to hook up with someone with whom you can work out regularly. Ask the manager or one of the personal trainers to introduce you around and make new friends who can help motivate you. Staff might be able to find someone from your neighborhood or building who is also a member.

I am fortunate to have not only one but two fantastic workout buddies. We encourage, support, motivate, eat healthy and sometimes share a tiny cupcake with each other. If it wasn’t for my buddies I’ll probably sleep in every morning. I want to thank my buds Pris and Ajay for being my ROCK… love you guys! Oh yea one more person to thank…ALAN… the fitness Coach!!! For those who haven’t had the opportunity to train with him ..do it now cause I know you won’t regret it. SERIOUSLY : O
